About Me:
Live theatre has been a lifelong passion for me ever since I attended my first professional production at age four. When my mother, a community theatre actress, needed a dresser, I stepped in to help her. That’s when I discovered that what happens backstage is just as exciting as the performance on stage.
After serving as a stagehand for a few years, I went on to run lights and sound for several years. In high school, the local community theatre asked me to step in as a stage manager for one show, which of course, led to another. A local high school drama teacher saw one of these productions asked me to help them out with their season. I was awarded Stage Manager of the Year, even though I was not a student.
I decided to enroll in PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre’s Technical Theatre program to train with a professional company. There, I rediscovered my love for electrics. The program helped me to learn not only how to program and operate the light board as I had done in community theatre. I learned how to repair, hang, focus, and circuit lights, as well. Since PCPA’s program is apprenticed-based, I have had the opportunity to serve as a follow spot operator, light board operator, and as an Assistant Master Electrician. I served as a follow spot op/electrician intern in 2019 with PCPA.

In May of 2020 I graduated from PCPA with my certificate in Technical Theatre. Since then I worked on The Haunted Road, Orlando, where I came in last minute to get all of the lighting equipment to work and finish designing the show. Currently, I'm working as Daytona State College's Lighting Technician here in Daytona Beach, FL.
